San Francisco vs Bengaluru

Two Silicon
Valleys.

Only one of them can be the Silicon Valley. Buy a tile, take a share of your city’s half of the wall, and watch the answer change every time somebody switches how the score is counted.

The Silicon Valley is: Nobody yet

Straight market conversion at the rate locked when each tile was bought. This is the money actually in the account, and the only figure published at season close.

The wall

Pay more,
take more room.

Each city owns half the wall, and that half is divided by what people paid. Buy the only tile and the whole half is yours. Someone paying twice what you did takes twice your area. Hover any bubble to see whose it is.

San FranciscoBengaluru
The wall is empty. The first tile bought owns an entire half of it, until somebody else turns up.
The 12½-hour war

Somebody is
always asleep.

The two cities sit almost exactly half a day apart. While one works, the other is in bed, and both wake up to a scoreboard that moved overnight. The dark half of the map is real, and it is moving right now.

Where the money goes

A fifth of it
leaves the building.

The charity share starts at 20% and climbs as the season grows, in marginal bands. Right now the season is at $0 of net revenue, so the next rupee in gives 20%. Charity and referral shares are taken from NET revenue: the amount charged, minus GST, before our own costs. The charity rate rises in marginal bands as the season total grows, exactly like tax brackets, so no single sale is ever taxed at a rate the whole pot has not reached.

$0

Owed under the marginal bands, recomputed from every settled tile on each load rather than read from a stored number that could drift.

REFERRALS

10% to whoever sent you

Single tier, permanently. You earn from tiles bought through your own link and from nothing else. No chains, no downline, no recruiting anybody.

Raw dollars are the receipt

PPP and Big Mac views are arguments. The raw figure is what was banked, and it is the number the charity share is computed from.

Send people, take a cut

Every tile bought through your link pays you 10% of its net value, as credit toward your own tiles. Someone you send buys a ₹50,000 billboard, you earn about ₹4,200 of wall.

Buyer pays₹10,000
GST out (18%, included)₹1,525.42
Net revenue₹8,474.58
To charity (20%)₹1,694.92
To you (10%)₹847.46

Percentages are of net revenue, which is what is left after GST. Publishing the base is the difference between a promise and a misleading claim, so it is stated here and in the terms rather than buried.

You are buying a display placement, not a bet. The tile appears the moment payment clears and holds its share of the wall for the rest of the season. Paying from India weights your tile at 3.90x in the PPP view.

How it works

Read this bit.

01

You buy a tile

A stated price for a stated thing: your name and link on the wall, at a share of your city’s half set by what you paid, for the rest of the season. It goes live the moment payment clears.

02

It scores for your city

The same payment moves your city’s total. Four ways of counting it, and the leader changes between them. That argument is the entertainment.

03

Season ends, wall freezes

A winner is declared in each of the four views, so both cities get a trophy. The wall is archived, and Season 2 opens with more cities.
