About RivalWall
RivalWall sells advertising space on a shared wall, and settles an argument while doing it.
How it works
You buy a tile. It shows your name, your link, a line about what you do, and your site icon. Its area is proportional to what you paid, so the wall is literally a picture of who backed which side hardest. Every click your tile sends is counted and published, so you can see what the placement actually delivered.
The argument
Season 1 is San Francisco against Bengaluru. Bengaluru has been called the Silicon Valley of India for thirty years, so there are two claimants to one name.
Your payment also scores for your city, and the scoreboard counts it four ways: raw dollars, number of backers, purchasing power parity, and the Big Mac index. A different city leads depending on which one you pick. Nobody agrees on which is fair, and that disagreement is the entertainment. The raw figure is the only one that corresponds to money in the bank, and we say so on the page.
Where the money goes
A published share of net revenue goes to charity, rising in bands as the season grows, and 10% goes to whoever referred a buyer. The running totals are shown on the site and recomputed from the actual transactions rather than stored as a claim.
Who runs it
RivalWall is operated by KINGMOHAN45 LABS, a Micro enterprise, proprietorship registered in India under Udyam number UDYAM-KR-03-0748376, based at 102, Sarada Nilayam, Junior College Road, Kadugodi, Bengaluru (Urban), Karnataka 560067, India.
It is a small operation run by one person. If something is wrong, the contact page reaches a human.
