Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of RivalWall at https://rivalwall.com, operated by KINGMOHAN45 LABS, a Micro enterprise, proprietorship registered in India under Udyam number UDYAM-KR-03-0748376, with its registered office at 102, Sarada Nilayam, Junior College Road, Kadugodi, Bengaluru (Urban), Karnataka 560067, India. By buying a placement you accept them.

1. What we sell

RivalWall sells a digital advertising placement, which we call a tile. A tile displays a name you choose, an optional link, an optional description and an icon fetched from the site you link to. It appears on a shared page for the remainder of the current season, at a size proportional to the amount you paid relative to everyone else on the same side of the wall.

You are buying display space and the click-throughs it generates. You are not buying a guaranteed position, a guaranteed number of views or clicks, a ranking, or any commercial outcome.

2. This is advertising, not a game of chance

You pay a stated price for a stated placement, which is delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed and held for the rest of the season. There is no draw, no wager, no stake at risk and no outcome you can lose. Nothing on this site is a lottery, betting, gambling, a prize chit, a money circulation scheme or a real-money game.

This applies to every contest, battle, animation or head-to-head shown on the site. Where one is shown, its result is determined solely by what has been paid, it is reproducible by anyone from the published inputs, and it contains no random element that can change who wins. Nothing of monetary value is awarded for winning: a winning side receives a label and nothing else, and your placement, your click counts and the charity share are unaffected by any result. You are never at risk of losing what you bought.

3. Scores are a presentation, not a promise

Your payment also counts toward a city score shown in four different ways. Only the raw figure corresponds to money actually received. The purchasing-power and Big Mac views are re-weightings presented for discussion and carry no monetary meaning. Which city leads is not something you are buying and we make no representation about it.

4. Price, tax and payment

• Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in full at the time of purchase.
• Buyers in India are charged 18% GST on the advertising service, included in the displayed price. Buyers outside India are billed as an export of services at 0% GST under a Letter of Undertaking.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
• A tax invoice is issued to the email address you provide.

5. What you may not put on the wall

Your tile, your link and its destination must not contain or promote:

• hate speech, harassment, or content targeting a person or group
• sexual content, or content involving minors in any way
• malware, phishing, or anything that deceives a visitor about where a link goes
• impersonation of another person, business or brand you do not represent
• anything unlawful in India, or a scheme requiring recruitment to earn

We may remove a tile that breaks these rules, and we refund it in full when we do. That judgement is ours and it is final. We may also remove a tile whose linked site later changes to something that would not have been accepted.

6. Referrals

A referral code earns a share of the net value of tiles bought directly through it, credited toward your own placements. Earnings are single tier: you earn from what you refer and never from what your referrals go on to refer. We do not operate, and will not operate, any scheme in which earnings depend on enrolling others.

We may withhold or reverse referral credit obtained through self-referral, artificial traffic, or any arrangement whose purpose is to generate credit rather than genuine customers.

7. The charity share

A share of net revenue is committed to charity. The share is marginal: it starts at 20% and rises in bands as the season total grows, so a later rupee can carry a higher rate than an earlier one, and no rupee is ever recalculated downward. It is computed from net revenue, meaning after payment-gateway fees, tax and any referral credit, and from the raw figure in the currency actually banked. The PPP and Big Mac views on the wall are presentational and have no effect on it.

The percentage shown on the site is the rate that applies to the next rupee received at that moment, recomputed from every settled tile rather than read from a stored total. The running amount owed is published on the site and the two figures are cross-checked against each other on every release.

We have not yet named the recipient. We will name it on this page before any amount is paid out, and we will publish the receipt at season close. Until a recipient is named and the first payment is made, treat the figure on the site as an accrued commitment and nothing more. If you would rather not buy on that basis, do not buy, and if you already have and would like a refund on those grounds specifically, ask us and you will get the full amount back.

8. Click counts

We count click-throughs to your link and publish two figures: a raw count of every redirect, and a filtered count that excludes traffic we can identify as automated. We make a genuine effort to filter automated traffic and we make no guarantee that the filtered figure is exact. Both figures are shown so you can judge them yourself.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or end a season, or the service, at any time. If we end a season early we will refund the unexpired portion of placements bought for it.

10. Your content and our use of it

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your name, description, link and site icon on the site, in share images generated from the page, and in an archive of the season after it closes. You confirm you have the right to grant this.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the placement the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business or lost goodwill. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to placements bought after the update. The terms that applied when you bought continue to govern that purchase.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
